My Guide to a good Post-Thanksgiving Shopping Weekend

November 29, 2008

Chances are, you’re probably going shopping this weekend. Huge Sales, Finish Christmas Shopping, whatever your reason, it’s sure to be a pretty excusable one. Here are some tips to get a stress-free weekend of pure shopping bliss.1. Don’t Shop: Don’t Shop, avoid the crowds. If you must…..

2. Shop Online. If you’re without WiFi, like I am while writing this, than…..

3. Go in the Evening. Most people don’t shop then, and the sales are for the most part still on.

4. Know What You Want. Not a good weekend for window shopping.

And, 5. Guard What You’ve Bought Or Are Looking At With Your Life, (or at least your mother’s best china.) With so many people, it’s easy to lose stuff. Someone stole my sister’s fabulous Ralph Lauren boots she was about to buy when she went to the loo. Needless to say, she’s not happy.

Anyway, when I went shopping yesterday, I had an average experience. However, I was out of there in about a half an hour, and only got a Harajuku Lovers Perfume sample. Needless to say I’m not the best shopping example.

Yours in Shopping,

A
